The Jesup Police Department communications are operated out of the county wide Buchanan-Independence Public Safety Center. The communications center provides dispatch services for 10 of the 12 city fire departments in the county, the Jesup and Independence police departments, the Buchanan County Sheriff's Department, County Emergency Management, Jesup, Fairbank, and People's Memorial Hospital Ambulance Services. The communication's center is governed by a board composed of various Buchanan County officials. |
